It was another school fundraiser; a movie night. H could wear his own clothes if he took in £1. Between pouring out multi grain hoops and milk, sorting laundry and wondering wear the vacuum cleaner was, I scrabbled around for an envelope… and failed.
So, I put the £1 coin in book bag and literally crossed my fingers he’d remember to tell his teacher.
